“Backers want to know the terms were really agreed by the people leading the round.”
The project owner and lead investors sign the terms. Every backer can check. Up to 12 signers per ceremony today. Backers verify; they do not sign.
How it works 1 1 The project owner opens a ceremony on the campaign terms. 2 2 Lead investors, or the platform's committee, validate and add their faces in order. 3 3 Publish the certificate; any backer verifies it offline. Any backer can verify, with no account and no COSigna.
What COSigna does not do It does not verify identity: names are declared by the project owner. It never sees or checks the terms, and it handles no money.
